Ukraine publicizes list of armament sold to Azerbaijan in 2009

Ukraine has released a report on its arms deal in 2009.

In its report to the UN Register of Conventional Arms, Ukraine said it sold arms and ammunitions to 14 countries last year, according to Ukrainian media.

Ukraine sold 29 BTR-70, twenty nine 122-mm 2S1 “Gvozdika” auxiliary artillery, six 152-mm 2S3 “Acacia” auxiliary artillery, MiG-29UB basic trainer fighter jet and eleven Mi-24 helicopters to Azerbaijan last year.

Ukraine exported arms and ammunitions (five BTR-70) to Georgia as well.

In 2008, Ukraine sold 32 BTR-70, 18 “Gvozdika”, 21 R-27 air-fired missiles, three 9P129 – 1M trigger motors for Tochka-U complexes and ten Strela-3 mobile surface-to-air missiles.
