Azerbaijani soldier seriously injured in explosion of grenade thrown by Armenian side

Soldier of the Azerbaijani Army Orkhan Mirzayev was seriously injured a result of explosion of a grenade thrown by the Armenian side, press officer of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev said.

"The soldier was seriously injured as a result of explosion of grenade. At present, his health condition is serious," Abdullayev said.

The incident took place near the Yusifjanli village of Azerbaijan's Agdam region on Aug. 25.

Orkhan Mirzayev, born in 1991, was drafted from country's Mingachevir region.
