Japanese ambassador visits Azerbaijan's Tovuz region

Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki visited the country's Tovuz region on Aug. 25.
The ambassador was welcomed here by the region's officials and MP Ganira Pashayeva.

Then, Oki met Tovuz Governor Tofig Zeynalov who informed the diplomat about the region's economic potential.

The ambassador attended the inauguration of a medical point in Girzan village of the region which was built as part of the “Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Program”.

The Ambassador also visited Hajalli village and met here people who were injured as the result of Armenians' violating ceasefire.

The Japanese envoy also visited the Goytepe historical monument in Ashagi Gushchu village.
