
A group of the Azerbaijani parliamentarians visited the embassy of Pakistan over the natural disaster that happened in the country and met ambassador Abdul Hamid on Aug. 18. MP Eldar Ibrahimov extended condolence to the ambassador over the natural calamity which has been resulted in heavy casualties.
Ibrahimov said Azerbaijan and Pakistan enjoy strong relationship. According to him, the Azerbaijani people are unhappy over the heavy human loss and destructions caused by the natural calamity in Pakistan. He also handed over the New Azerbaijan Party's letter of condolence to the ambassador.
Ambassador Hamid, in turn, thanked the Azerbaijani government and people for the support. He noted Azerbaijan and Pakistan are friendly and fraternal countries, and have always supported each-other.
Other MPs extended condolence to the ambassador and wished the soonest elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster.
