Azerbaijani president offers Independence Day greetings to Afghan counterpart

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to the President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai on his country's national holiday – the Independence Day.
“Today friendly and cooperative relations between our peoples are continuing its traditions. I'm sure that positive results of the efforts to protect peace and ensure stability in your country will open new opportunities to expand the scope of our cooperation,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.

President Ilham Aliyev extended best wishes to Hamid Karzai and wished the friendly people of Afghanistan peace and prosperity.
