Turkish consulate to open in Ganja in September

The ambassador said the embassy has completed preparations to open a consulate in country's second largest city adding that he had visited the city to determine a building for the consulate and introduce new consul Haluk Agajan to the city administration.

The Turkish envoy noted that he met with city mayor Eldar Azizov and the consulate will open hee roughly on Sept. 15. The diplomat expressed confidence that opening of the consulate in this cultural and industrial center of Azerbaijan will boost relations between the two countries.
