President of Azerbaijan receives Socialist International secretary general

The Secretary General of Socialist International said he visited Azerbaijan for the first time in 2007 and expressed admiration for such quick changes and processes of development in the country.

President of Azerbaijan expressed gratitude for cordial words, praising the fact of visit of the Secretary General of Socialist International to Azerbaijan.

The country will cooperate with the Socialist International in the years coming, President Aliyev said. Views on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Socialist International were also discussed at the meeting.
