Secretary General of Socialist International to arrive in Azerbaijan

The Secretary General of the Socialist International, Luis Ayala  will arrive today in Azerbaijan, Co-chairman of the Azerbaijani Social Democratic Party Araz Alizade said. Within the visit, which will last till Aug.1, Ayala will hold meetings with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Alizade noted.

He said the Socialist International Committee on Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Black Sea region will hold a meeting in October in Baku. And Ayala's visit aims at discussing preparation for the Committee's meeting with the Azerbaijani side.
