The Azerbaijani Progressive Socialist Party (APSP) and Azerbaijani Democratic Left Party (ADLP) have developed a unified position on the forthcoming parliamentary elections, the APSP reported.

During the meeting Chairmen of APSP and ADLP, Rustam Shahsuvarov and Elshan Manafov, decided to hold regular meetings and joint activities between the two parties united in the Azerbaijani Left Forces Coordinating Council.
The parties set up an expert group which will monitor the campaign and voting process.
Azerbaijan will hold next parliamentary elections on Nov. 7, 2010.
Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held
according to the majority system in 125 constituencies across the
country.
