Azerbaijan invites international organizations to monitor parliamentary elections

"The Foreign Ministry invited the representatives of the UN, OSCE, EU, CoE, the CIS Parliamentary Assembly and other organizations," Sadigov said.

He also pointed out, that Azerbaijan now awaiting a response from the organizations. "We hope that they will participate in monitoring the elections".

Azerbaijan will hold next parliamentary elections on Nov. 7, 2010. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held according to the majority system in 125 constituencies across the country.
