President of Azerbaijan received Egypt's petroleum minister

Head of Azerbaijan said relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt were successfully developing.

President Aliyev said fruitful discussions were held during a recent visit of Egypt's FM to Azerbaijan. He stressed the necessity to further boost cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields. The Azerbaijani leader said visit of Egypt`s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy to Azerbaijan gave a good opportunity to develop relations in energy field.

Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the joint activity would be discussed during the next visits of the guest to Baku. Egypt`s Petroleum Minister praised Azerbaijan's development, saying he was impressed by what he had seen here. He said there were interesting plans to expand relations between the two countries expressing confidence these initiative would be realized.
