Name of Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan announced

Hardijs Baumanis will lead the Latvian embassy in Azerbaijan. Latvian President Valdis Zatlers is expected to receive Baumanis and hand over his credentials for service in Azerbaijan today. Prior to his appointment to Azerbaijan, Baumanis lead his country's diplomatic mission in Lithuania, the Latvian Embassy in Baku told Trend. Baumanis will replace Michael Popkovs, who has been working in Azerbaijan since 2006.
