
Romanian embassy will function as NATO’s coordinator in Azerbaijan for two years more, Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureki told APA. According to him, the North Atlantic Alliance passed a decision on lengthening the second time of mandate in June. So, Romanian embassy will be NATO’s coordinator in Azerbaijan in 2011-2012.
Note that, the embassy can not fulfill this function more than twice. Romania began function as NATO’s coordinator in Azerbaijan since 2009. Before it Turkey was entrusted this post.
