Azerbaijan and European Commission have launched the first technical session in Brussels, Belgium as part of the EU`s Eastern Partnership Program.

A three-day session will focus on technical issues. One of the principal goals of the Eastern Partnership Program is the signing of association agreements between its participating countries and the European Union.
It also aims to further strengthen cooperation and partnership with those countries. The EU has already commenced negotiations on this matter with Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia (since May, 2010).
