
Acting President of Poland and Speaker of the Sejm Bronislaw Komorowski, who is the member of the Civic Platform Party, leads in the early presidential elections organized by the Polish Embassy in Baku in Azerbaijan.
The Polish Central Election Commission (CEC) organized a polling station No.22 in the Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan. Of the 30 Polish citizens, who voted in this precinct, 17 people voted for Komorowski, six - for Law and Justice Party Leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, four - for Napieraiski and three - for Olechkovski, Second Secretary of the Embassy Jan Brodovski said.
According to the EXIT poll held in Poland, 45.7% of voters voted for Komorowski and 33.2 percent for Kaczynski.
Reminding, that Polish President Lech Kaczynski tragically died in the plane crash near Smolensk on April 10. After the accident, the powers' of the president switched to Komorowski in accordance with the Constitution. Underthe current legislation, Komorowski fixed the date for early elections June 20.
