Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry comments on UN security Council sanction against Iran

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov says the UN Security Council sanction against Iran requires detailed study.
“Azerbaijan will voice its opinion about the recent sanctions after we study all provisions specified in the document,” Polukhov said.

The UN Security Council adopted sanction against Iran on June 9 in response to Iran’s refusal to halt uranium enrichment program. Twelve UN SC member voted for the sanctions with Turkey and Brazil voting against and Lebanon abstaining. This is fourth UN SC resolution against Iran.
