A working visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Turkey was in the spotlight of the Turkish and world media.
The article in “Zaman” newspaper carrying a headline “By condemning Israel Ilham Aliyev fully supported Turkey” underlines a fair stance of the Head of Azerbaijan over recent developments in the Mediterranean Sea and intensification of Turkish-Azerbaijani relations.

The analytical article “A considerable step between Turkey and Azerbaijan” placed in CNNTurk.com says about significance of the energy agreements signed during Azerbaijan President` working visit to Turkey. “These documents lay a favorable ground for realization of Nabucco project. Intensifying its economic power, friendly country, Azerbaijan will also play an important role in Europe`s energy security”, the article reads.

The report “Turkey and Azerbaijan agreed upon a gas issue” from “Voice of America” Radio Station highlights opinion of Turkey`s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz on significance of the documents signed with Azerbaijan and brings to the forefront the thought-out energy policy of Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

The papers “Hurriyet” and “MIlliyet” particularly underline Turkey`s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s words “My dear brother Ilham Aliyev fully supported Turkey`s stand”. A decisive position of the head of Azerbaijan is important for official Ankara, the newspapers say.

Anadolu and “Cihan” News Agencies widely covered a speech of Ilham Aliyev during the third summit of the conference on interaction and confidence building measures in Asia. An opinion of the head of state on comprehensive approach to the measures of security and intensifying combat with terrorism is especially underlined.
