British delegation visits Azerbaijan's Guba region

During a meeting at the region's Executive Power, the visitors were briefed on the history of the region. The British businessmen said they were interested in the non-oil cooperation with Azerbaijan. The businessmen noted they intend to carry out economic projects in the region.

The delegation also visited the mass graveyard in the region where they were told that the people of Guba were brutally killed by Armenians in 1918. Head of the Azerbaijan-Europe Society Council of Advisors Lord John Lerd said “after seeing the graveyard we became confident that unprecedented crime was committed here."

He also said they would spread information about the event.
