Azerbaijani President receives Republic Day greetings from Lithuanian leader

The letter says Lithuania and Azerbaijan are tied by common interests to ensure welfare, security and peace of their citizens.

“We can achieve these goals only by working in a resolute, open and constructive manner,” said the Lithuanian President.

Dalia Grybauskaitė expressed belief that “our joint activity in the framework of the European Union`s Eastern Partnership Program and deeper bilateral economic, cultural and political cooperation can contribute to achieving these goals.”

The Lithuanian leader wished Azerbaijani President and his people successes and prosperity.
