President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has today received at his temporary residence Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade.

The Belarus leader praised the meetings he held in Baku. He also described the work of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation as “fruitful”.
The President said the fact that trade turnover between the two countries increases year after year was an evidence to the implementation of the decisions adopted at the commission's meetings. Premier Rasizade emphasized the importance of expansion of bilateral economic cooperation even more.
He expressed confidence that President Lukashenko's current visit would contribute to boosting mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries for the welfare of “both peoples”. The Prime Minister handed over the works of the Azerbaijani scientists featuring accomplishments of the economy of Belarus.
