Cyprus to host conference of CoE parliament speakers

The next Conference of Presidents of Parliament of the Council of Europe states will be held in Limassol, Cyprus, from 10 to 12 June 2010.
The Conference is composed of Speakers and Presidents of the Parliaments of the Member States of the Council of Europe, parliaments enjoying observer status with PACE and international parliamentary assemblies.

The themes of the Conference include rights and responsibilities of the Opposition in a Parliament; National Parliaments and international human rights law: implementation of the principle of non-discrimination.
