Azerbaijani delegation attends 3rd forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations

The forum brought together representatives from 130 countries and international and regional organizations. President of Brazil Lula da Silva, UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Angel Moratinos, former president of Portugal Jorge Sampaio and Qatari First Lady Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned addressed the event.

Orujov also made a speech to highlight consequences of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, and President Ilham Aliyev's policy. The forum adopted a conception determining activity of the Global Youth Movement for the Alliance of Civilizations and decided the first congress of the Movement will be held in Baku in next October.

On the sidelines of the forum, the Azerbaijani delegation held a number of meetings aimed at increasing the awareness of the Latin America's and Caribbean Basin's countries about Azerbaijan's truths.
