European Parliament supports fair cause of Azerbaijan

The document confirms the demand on immediate withdrawal of the armed forcers of Armenia from Nagorno Karabakh and the adjacent occupied areas, and demands settlement of the conflict in the frame of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Politicians consider that the Resolution is the success of the expedient foreign policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev, and significant achievement of the Azerbaijan diplomacy.

After the UN, the Council of Europe, OSCE, OIC and other international organizations and world countries, the European Parliament's Resolution is the evidence to support by the world community for the fair position of Azerbaijan.

According to the political commentators, thanks to the modernization policy being implemented under the direction of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan`s reputation raises, and increases its influence on the region and the country becomes a leading power in the ongoing world processes.

The Resolution will be a valuable document for strengthening of the world community`s fair approach to the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and have positive impact on peaceful settlement of the dispute.

“Adoption of this document should be considered as one of the major achievements of the active diplomacy of the President of Azerbaijan”, politologist Mubariz Gurbanly says. “As you know, today Azerbaijan prevails over Armenia in all fields. Socio-economic accomplishments strengthen the diplomatic steps of Azerbaijan.”

According to Mr. Gurbanly, the Resolution is an important document related to liberation of the occupied territories.

According to known politologist Aydin Mirzazade, Azerbaijan has become a significant region for Europe that this question is discussed at the European Parliament. Armenia for the first time is called as an aggressor.

The European parliamentarians demand withdrawal of the troops from the occupied areas. Thus, there is a change in views of world community related to Nagorno Karabakh question”, the politologist emphasizes.
