Azerbaijani embassy in Vilnius marked Republic Day

The event brought together officials, MPs, representatives of the Presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign ministry, the diplomatic corps, workers of culture, businessmen and journalists.

Ambassador Naira Shakhtakhtinskaya told of history of establishment of the democratic republic and all round development of modern Azerbaijan. Ambassador touched on unsolved Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and ethnic purge committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan. The ceremony was followed by a concert of Azerbaijani culture figures.
