Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia meets his countrymen

Azerbaijan's ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev has met his countrymen living in this country to get information directly from them about their problems.
The diplomat said the Azerbaijani government always takes care of Azerbaijanis living abroad. He said a policy of care and attention towards Azerbaijanis living abroad initiated by the national leader Heydar Aliyev is being “effectively” continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

The ambassador also praised contribution of President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Good Will ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva to promoting education of Azerbaijanis in Georgia, in particular constructing schools there.

The diplomat said employees of the embassy periodically visit regions of Georgia where Azerbaijanis live compactly to inquire after their problems. Local people chatted with the ambassador about the current situation in regions and highlighted their problems. They also thanked President Ilham Aliyev for keeping the solution of problems of Azerbaijanis in Georgia among priority issues.
