Azerbaijan's embassy in Seoul marked Republic Day

The event was attended by Korean officials, including Jae-Hee Jeon, Minister for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, heads and employees of the diplomatic corps, Korean businessmen, members of the Azerbaijani community and journalists.

The embassy's officials highlighted the history of statehood in Azerbaijan, and the founding of the Republic Day. They informed the participants of ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan as well as the consequences of Armenia`s aggression against the country. The embassy officials also stressed Azerbaijan placed particular emphasis on cooperation with Korea.

Jae-Hee Jeon extended her greetings to the people of Azerbaijan. She said Korea was keen to expand and deepen the all-round cooperation with Azerbaijan.

The event featured the demonstration of a documentary film about Azerbaijan's history, culture and economic and tourism potential.
