UNICEF to discuss country program for Azerbaijan

The United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, will discuss a draft country program document for Azerbaijan as the organization`s Executive Body will kick off a four-day annual session in New York on Tuesday.
Along with Azerbaijan, draft country programs for Georgia, Serbia and Turkey will also be discussed. The Board will also consider the prolongation of the country programs for Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Ukraine.

The Executive Board is the governing body of UNICEF, providing intergovernmental support and oversight to the organization, in accordance with the overall policy guidance of the United Nations General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council.
