
“Turkic-Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly will give an impetus to the development of the political, economic, cultural relations among the member states,” said first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov at the international conference “Parliament diplomacy of Turk PA” of the Turkic-Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly.
He underlined that Turk PA will also determine the joint cooperation among the member states within the framework of the international organizations. Asgarov expressed his hope that such cooperation will result in the abolition of visa regime among the Turkic states in future.
“So, the Turkic world, which we all desire, will be created. The countries will help one another to solve their problems,” he said.
Secretary General of Turk PA Ramil Hasanov gave information about the history of the organization. He said that the main aim of the organization is to deepen relations among the Turkic-speaking countries and bring egislation in conformity with international norms.
Deputy chairman of the Turkish parliament Nevzat Pakdil noted that the event will boost up the relations among the Turkic-speaking countries.
Head of Azerbaijan-Turkey interparliamentary friendship group Nizami Jafarov said, that the Turkic-speaking countries that have not joined the TurkPA, cannot have success to the international organizations. He said it is important to form a common alphabet of the Turkic states and underlined the necessity of discussions.
