Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) Rector Hafiz Pashayev congratulated students starting their Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MADIA) at the ADA this summer. The new students were introduced to faculty and staff, and acquainted with the core values of ADA, its facilities and courses.

Apart from 25 local students coming from leading universities of Azerbaijan, 10 foreign students have been also admitted to the MADIA 2010-2012, representing countries as diverse as Egypt, Indonesia, Hungary, Romania, Tanzania, Iran, Uganda, Georgia and the Netherlands. Selected number of students has been awarded with ADA scholarships.

"We are all delighted with the outcome of the admissions process for the next incoming MADIA Class,' ADA Director of Admissions and Financial Aid stated Janice Austin said.

"Though ADA is still a young academic institution, the level of interest from both Azerbaijani students and the international community demonstrates the profound respect and growth in reputation we've experienced in just the first years of operation. By offering a world-class masters degree program, Diplomacy and International Affairs of ADA continues to attract and enroll outstanding Azerbaijani students and an increasingly diverse group of citizens from around the globe."
