Serbian President visited Azerbaijan's parliament

President of Serbia Boris Tadic visited Azerbaijan`s Parliament, the Milli Majlis on May 13.
Accompanied by Speaker Ogtay Asadov, the Serbian President toured a meeting hall and Heydar Aliyev's memorial hall where they viewed documents and photographs reflecting different periods of the national leader's life and career.

The Serbian President was told of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in forming Azerbaijan's parliament and building its foreign relations.

Afterwards, Asadov and Tadic had a meeting during which they praised cooperation between the two countries. The Milli Majlis Speaker stressed the role of the two countries` presidents in “bringing the bilateral relations to today's level”. Tadic hailed the interparliamentary cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia, in particular between the friendship groups.
