EU to discuss association agreement with Azerbaijani government

“Discussions on signing of the association agreement between Azerbaijan and EU in the framework of the Eastern Partnership program will be started in the coming months”, head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia told journalists.

He added “this shows clearly that we are strengthening political and economic relations with the South Caucasus countries. This is an important political signal.”

Kobia underlined the association agreement was a comprehensive agreement covering political, economic and other spheres.
