Azerbaijani FM receives UNICEF Regional Director

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received UNICEF Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe and CIS Steven Allen today, the ministry reported.

Steven Allen, expressing satisfaction with his first visit to the country, highly appreciated the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and UNICEF, work on rehabilitation and integration into society of children from refugee families.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister noted the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and UNICEF, reported on the contribution of these relations in the development policy of the Azerbaijani government in the social sphere. The issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
