Azerbaijani military men study methods of military sphere democratic governance in in Georgia

British experts in the sphere of civil and military security governance will share their experiences in the Georgian Defense Ministry. Military men from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova will get familiarized with British experts' experience in ensuring security, the Defense Ministry told CAUCASUS PRESS.

Courses are open in the NATO professional training center at the Georgian Defence Ministry and conducted within cooperation between Georgia and Great Britain from 2010 to 2011.

Participants in the workshop during the trainings will become familiar with the problems of regional security, strategic defense review, the role of modern armed forces, managing the transition democracy and transparency of the activity of the defense department. Within the workshop participants also will learn the rules of relationships with the media, the principles of interdepartmental relations and strategic governance.

The workshop is headed by representative of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom Lora Claire. The courses for seminarians will end May 21.
