First Lady of Georgia misses Baku, plans to visit

“I will leave for Baku after two days. There, as ever, I will visit Heydar Aliyev’s tomb”, said the First Lady of Georgia Sandra Roelofs, while delivering speech at the event dedicated to Heydar Aliyev’s birthday held in Tbilisi.

She said she will meet with President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and discuss several important projects.

“Yesterday was the birthday of Heydar Aliyev. It is a very special day. He was a very important person not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the region, for the entire Europe and for the whole world. I will speak to Mehriban Aliyeva about hospital, schools ad other projects. We will talk on new hospital and museums. We cooperate with each other very well. For a long time I have not been in Baku. I miss it”.
