Azerbaijani Prime Minister meets Belarus Deputy Premier

On May 5, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade met visiting Andrei Kobyakov, Belarus deputy Premier, co-chair of Azerbaijan-Belarus intergovernmental commission on commercial and economic cooperation. Rasizade praised the economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, describing it as “fruitful”.

He noted documents signed during reciprocal visits of the two countries` presidents had contributed to boosting bilateral cooperation. “Our economic cooperation has already given concrete results.”

Rasizade also underlined his country intends to further cooperate with Belarus in various spheres. Kobyakov stressed the importance of the 2nd Belarus national exhibition which opened today in Baku.

He echoed Rasizade's position concerning the bilateral relations, saying Belarus “is also keen to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan”.
