Program of Azerbaijani Parliament chairman's visit to Italy announced

Milli Mejlis (Parliament) chairman Oqtay Asadov will pay visit to Italy May 3-5.

"Within the three-day visit the Azerbaijani delegation's meetings with the Italian Parliament and the country's other officials are envisaged," the head of press service of the Parliament Akif Tavakkuloglu said today at a briefing.

According to him, the meeting will discuss in particular issues of level and perspective of cooperation, information exchange between Azerbaijan and Italy's parliaments, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

During the visit, Asadov will be accompanied by Safa Mirzayev, head of the Parliament Office, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynov and MPs Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Azer Kerimli and Rufat Guliyev.

During the visit it is planned to hold meetings with chairman of Italian Chamber of Deputies and other officials. The visit will be realized on the initiative of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
