On the sidelines of the PACE spring session, heads of delegations of
Armenia and Azerbaijan met on April 28.
Chairman of the organization
Mevlut Chavushoglu was also present at the meeting, head of the
Azerbaijani delegation Samad Seyidov told journalists.
"We met with the head of the Armenian delegation and exchanged views.
Discussion of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the Council of Europe is
very important. We decided to meet again in June. Our work continues,
and the format of the next meeting would be expanded. It will be
attended by the representatives of the opposition, members of the
delegations of Azerbaijan and Armenia. I think this is a great
achievement and we will try to ensure that such meetings with PACE
president held each session. I note that today's meeting was attended
by PACE Chairman Mevlut Chavushoglu, Secretary General of the Assembly
Mathias Sorinas and other officials," Seyidov said.
