Bavaria 'keen' to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan

“The Federal State of Bavaria is keen to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan and there is a huge potential to make it happen,” Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Emilia Muller told Azeri foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

She said Bavarian companies were “effectively” functioning in Azerbaijan. The minister added Bavaria and Azerbaijan could further expand their relations in various fields, in particular economy, education, construction and ICT.

The Azerbaijani minister stressed the importance of implementing joint projects.

Mammadyarov also raised the Bavarian minister`s awareness of the current state of peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
