Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu arrived in Iran on Monday to hold formal talks, Anadolu Agency reported.

Davutoglu's formal visit will begin on Tuesday. He will first meet with his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Mottaki and then the two ministers will hold a joint press conference.
Later, Davutoglu will meet Saeed Jalili, Iran's Chief Nuclear Negotiator and Secretary-General of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. He is also scheduled to have a meeting with Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.
Davutoglu's talks are expected to focus on regional and international issues, as well as Iran's nuclear activity.
During his stay in Iran, Davutoglu is also expected to meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
