Vice-Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament meets Kuwaiti women MPs

Vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bahar Muradova has met today visiting Kuwait's women parliamentarians.

Speaking of the relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, Muradova stressed the role of the two countries' leaders in development of them.

She noted documents signed during President Ilham Aliyev`s visit to Kuwait had created a legal basis for enhancement of “our bilateral cooperation.”

Muradova pointed out reciprocal visits also contribute to boosting interparliamentary ties.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Muradova thanked the State of Kuwait for supporting Azerbaijan`s position on the dispute and providing humanitarian assistance to the IDPs “forced to leave their lands in the wake of Armenia's aggression.”

Head of the Kuwaiti delegation Maasouma Saleh Al-Mubarak said reciprocal visits contribute to deepening relationship between the two countries. She noted her country attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan.

She reiterated her country`s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, underlining “we support fraternal Azerbaijan.”
