Azerbaijan's National Intellectual Property Strategy to be prepared

A group of experts of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has arrived in Azerbaijan on the invitation of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology & Patents.

According to the Committee, the WIPO experts came to the country with the purpose to prepare National Intellectual Property Strategy.

“The experts made presentation about plans on preparation of the Strategy in Azerbaijan. Within the frames of the visit the WIPO reps will hold meetings in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the State Customs Committee, the Supreme Court, the Copyright Agency, and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan to discuss issues of National Strategy preparation,” the Committee reported.
