"Azerbaijan wants NATO Parliamentary Assembly to express attitude towards Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and pass a decision on this issue,” head of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA and Vice Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov told media.
He said other international organizations have voiced their opinion on the conflict adding that NATO should express its attitude, too.
“We will raise this issue once again. NATO committees passed decisions about it. But we want the Parliamentary Assembly to take this step. Once president of the Assembly said to me: ‘You should understand that NATO Parliamentary Assembly does not deal with only Karabakh problem, it also has other problems.’ I said there is no other country 20 percent of lands of which was occupied by its neighbor. They always say OSCE Minsk Group deals with this problem. But the Minsk Group's activity doesnt produce any results” he said.
