Azerbaijani President receives Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Relations and Gambians abroad

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Gambia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Relations and Gambians Abroad Ousman Jammeh.

The President said this was a first-ever ministerial delegation of Gambia which visited Azerbaijan, expressing confidence reciprocal visits would continue. President Ilham Aliyev said the visit opened up good opportunities to discuss the bilateral relations and international issues.

The Gambian minister conveyed President Yahya Jammeh's greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
The minister said the Gambian leader placed great emphasis on relations with Azerbaijan.

Jammeh said Gambia attaches “particular importance on this visit”, expressing confidence it would see “fruitful discussions” on prospects of the bilateral relations.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the minister to pass his greetings on to the Gambian leader.
