Russian embassy in Baku sends letter of gratitude to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry

Embassy thanked the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of SOCAR and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, which took an active part in saving the ship and its crew during the fire, which occurred on the night of 11 to 12 March in the fishing vessel "Kaykend", sailing under the flag of the Russian Federation, the official website of SOCAR reported.

Particularly, as a result of the activities of Azerbaijani seamen and rescuers, it was possible to rescue 15 members of the crew and the ship, with cargo on board. The embassy appreciates this fact.

The letter also states that the Azerbaijani seamen's rescuing the ship, sailing under the Russian flag, is another fact of the friendly relations between the two countries.
