Chairman of Azerbaijan's Parliamentary Journalists Union Elshad Eyvazli and vice-chairman, employee of AzerTAc news agency Khatai Azizov have met President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.
The sides exchanged views over Azerbaijan-Turkey relations as well as the role of media in expanding Azerbaijan-PACE ties.
The PACE President stressed the importance of a photo exhibition held in Ankara and Alanya on Armenian vandalism in Azerbaijan.
Cavusoglu said “reporters of the two states must make every effort towards making Armenian's crimes known to the world community”.
He underlined developing free media is “of great importance” for both countries.
Cavusoglu also praised legal and democratic reforms in Azerbaijan.
