
Newly-elected Turkish president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Mevlut Cavusoglu will pay his first official visit to Azerbaijan on April 14-16.
Cavusoglu plans to hold a number of meetings with Azerbaijani officials and discuss prospects for cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The former head of the Turkish delegation to PACE Mevlut Cavusoglu was elected as a new chairman of the organization in January.
The majority of the members of the Assembly, which will be chaired by him within two years voted for 41-year-old Turkish candidate.
Luis Maria de Puig was the chairman of this organization before Cavusoglu.
