NATO Secretary General may visit Azerbaijan

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is expected to visit Azerbaijan, Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Ureki told the journalists.

The visit can take place as part of Rasmussen's regional tour slated for summer, the ambassador said.

In Baku, the NATO chief is expected to discuss cooperation prospects between Azerbaijan and NATO.

NATO parliamentary delegation also will pay visit to Baku on Apr.12-14, the diplomat added.

During the visit, the delegation will hold several meetings in the ministries of foreign affairs, defense and internal affairs of Azerbaijan, as well as the country's parliament.

The delegation will also attend a conference on the NATO-Azerbaijan.
