NATO envoy for S. Caucasus to visit Azerbaijan next month

Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General for the South Caucasus Robert Simmons will visit Azerbaijan in April, Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureki said.

Simmons is expected to attend the NATO seminar in Baku on April 20-21 dedicated to the fulfillment of UN Security Council resolution 1540 about the conventional arms.

Romanian embassy in Baku has carried out the coordinating duty for NATO in Azerbaijan since last January.
