Azerbaijan's public unions protest at U.S. House Foreign Relations Committee's decision on "Armenian Genocide"

The decision of the US House Foreign Relations Committee related to the so-called “Armenian genocide” aroused anger and concern among the public unions of Azerbaijan.

The country's a number of public unions, including public union of invalids, veterans of Karabakh War and families of martyrs, the Union of Chernobyl invalids, the Azerbaijan Union of the veterans of Great Patriotic War, the Public Union of Afghanistan veterans and others adopted a statement condemning the said decision.

The decision adopted by the Congress Committee and thus harming Turkey, strategic partner of the United States, may lead to negative consequences in region, the Statement emphasizes.
