Polish PM: Poland to support Azerbaijan's efforts in integration into European structures

Poland will support Azerbaijan's efforts in integration into the European structures as part of EU`s Eastern Partnership program, said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a enlarged meeting with his Azerbaijani colleague Artur Rasizade.

Azerbaijani Prime Minister praised relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in all areas. Azerbaijan is keen to boost cooperation with EU, Mr. Rasizade said.

He said there is a large potential for boosting Azerbaijani-Polish cooperation in economic area. Prime Minister told of achievements in the country`s economy and the sore problem – Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.

Mr. Tusk praised reforms, including construction and improvement works in Azerbaijan. The Polish Premier also touched upon the EU`s Eastern Partnership program, stressing its importance for Azerbaijan.

In particular, Tusk said, the program would help ease vise regime among the EU countries.

After the meeting, Mr. Rasizade and Mr. Tusk made statements for media outlets. Azeri Premier called Polish businessmen to take an active part in investment projects for development of the country`s non-oil sector. M. Tursk praised talks carried out with Mr. Rasizade on various aspects of cooperation.
